Changer

Two former changing rooms from outdoor swimming pools in Chemnitz city centre invite you to change - the CHANGER. The changing rooms contain works of art behind a curtain. However, these change permanently, as anyone who wants to present a painting or sculpture can bring their work with them and exchange it for the work on display in the CHANGER. In doing so, they also make their work available for the next change - creating an interactive exhibition.

The booths will be located in the city centre between Johannisplatz and Rotem Turm from 1 May to the end of August 2025. All those interested in swapping are invited, regardless of whether they are hobby or professional artists, as well as anyone who is curious and has a work of art to offer.  If you would like to exhibit your work, please contact the project initiators by email at mail@changer-info.com or by phone on 01523 4619873. The works of art in CHANGER will be changed on a weekly basis and the exhibited works will be digitally documented.
