The FUNKEN Academy unites science and art. Contemporary artists, research institutes and medium-sized companies work together to create exhibitions organised by Klub Solitaer, Kreatives Chemnitz and the Fraunhofer ENAS Institute in Chemnitz. This has resulted in installations, collective art actions on the TU Chemnitz campus, performances and summer concerts. Now, in addition to the FUNKEN Nights and FUNKEN Echos, a new venue has been added: the FUNKEN Space.
It opens its doors on 13 October. The new coworking and chill spot directly on campus is designed to make productive use of the time between lectures or after work.
In addition to free Wi-Fi and comfortable workstations, there will also be on-site:
- Instant ramen and snacks
- Board games
- Selection of magazines
- Outdoor & indoor tables
- Coffee & cold drinks
Whether you want to concentrate on your work, brainstorm together, meet new people or simply enjoy snacks and surf for free - anything goes at FUNKEN SPACE!
The coworking space is open from Monday to Friday, 10am to 8pm.
