From 24 to 27 September, international light artists illuminated buildings and facades at Light our Vision. The light art festival attracted 86,000 visitors to Chemnitz city centre. This year, the festival route led along the Red Tower, the Opera House and the bus station. The central location was Marienplatz (behind the office complex on Brückenstraße) - previously unused space in the city centre. The organisers of Light our Vision focused on ideas and visions for urban development in 2025. The projections showed how spaces and areas could be used and designed in the future.
The Light our Vision light art festival took place for the third time this year. Various buildings in Chemnitz were illuminated at ten locations. The vision behind Light our Vision is to experience public space in a new way.
