A joint exhibition by volunteers from Timișoara and Chemnitz in cooperation with Ana's Easel
"Two Way Street" connects two cities that share the same cultural responsibility as European Capitals of Culture (Timișoara 2023 and Chemnitz 2025). The exhibition creates a space for dialogue, inspiration and encounters.
The works on display are created by volunteers who translate their cities into colours and shapes: from well-known landmarks and emotional places to hidden corners full of memories. Together, they draw an emotional map of Timișoara and Chemnitz - cities that appear here not just as geographical points, but as living organisms full of stories and community.
"Two Way Street" stands for the exchange between the two cities: for what the volunteers from Timișoara have discovered and what the volunteers from Chemnitz convey. This encounter creates a visual dialogue that transcends borders and builds bridges.
Ana's Easel expands the exhibition with new interpretations of famous works of art - a common thread between past and present, tradition and innovation.
This exhibition is more than a collection of pictures. It is an invitation to see your own city anew, to explore the city of others and to experience the unifying power of art.
