31 female photographers from Germany and the Czech Republic will present their work in the exhibition TRACE OF US at the Garage Campus Chemnitz from 8 - 23 November 2025.
The photographs explore identity, origin and memory and combine documentary approaches, self-staging, archive material and landscape images to create polyphonic visual worlds that visualise transgenerational traumas, post-migrant experiences, forced adoptions in the GDR and female life paths after reunification.
