For over 100 years, the Taurstein Tower has been the landmark of the town of Burgstädt, north of Chemnitz. The Dresden-born artist Via Lewandowsky is now giving visitors and locals the chance to rediscover the tower with his light and sound installation "Alle Wetter" as part of the PURPLE PATH.

Via Lewandowski now lives in Berlin after numerous experiences abroad, including in New York and Beijing. The leitmotifs of his work are misunderstandings as a failure of communication and the search for constructive moments. His works confront the initial object without pathos, but with amazement and astonishment.

The tour provides background information on the art installation and the tower surrounding it. It follows the narrative of the PURPLE PATH "Everything comes from the mountain", draws an arc from the Capital of Culture region to the history of the Taurastein Tower, promises new perspectives and hopes for foresight.
