Dancing neighbours

Location

The workshop serves to prepare a unique dance project that connects generations.

As part of the opening ceremony of the Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025, we are looking for young dancers aged 16 and over who want to give their own performance as well as perform an intergenerational choreography together with older dance groups. The young dancers will first come together at the end of December under the guidance of Room dance teacher Nam Tran Xuan. In January there will then be further intensive courses (8 to 10 Jan. 25 4-7.30 pm) and 10 Jan. (10 am to 4 pm) as well as 13 to 17 Jan. 25 from 1 pm to 7 pm together with older dancers under the artistic direction of the renowned Japanese dancer Yoko Ando.
